Hillingdon Fete " Best Yet"

A grand garden fete and baby show was held in the grounds of St. Bernadette's church, Long Lane, Hillingdon (Middlesex), on Saturday last, in aid of the school debt fund.

The fete was opened by Mrs. MacKenzie, who presented the parish priest. the Rev. F. Bentley, with an illuminated address on behalf of the parishioners in recognition of the work which he has done for the parish since he went there from Wapping two years ago.

The fete is regarded as the best of its kind held as yet in Hillingdon, and realised a profit of over £120.
