Mr. C. T. Eyston

Mr. Charles Turbervile Eyston died on July 20, at his Berkshire residence, The Cottage, Buckland, in his seventy-first year. A requiem Mass was celebrated in the village on Saturday last, followed by the funeral at East Hendred.

Mr. Eyston was the third son of Charles J. Eyston, of Hendred House. He was educated at Oscott College. In 1904 he succeeded his uncle, George Basil Eyston, as owner of the Salford Hall estate, near Evesham, and in 1911 his uncle's 'widow at Stanford Place. He married, in 1896, Florence Marion, daughter of Mr. Charles Philip Duffield, of Mareham Park, Berks.
