Sne—Will someone please start a League of Young Christian Capitalists? We need one badly.
When the Y.C.W. have brought all the workers back to Christ there will be a rather odd state of affairs best balanced by bringing the capitalists into line too.
Then we'll have an all-Christian state. But if the Christians all live Christian lives we won't be able to run the country since it depends on things quite un-Christian to keep it going. But as baptism seldom affects business these days (" the Encyclicals are so impractical, you know,") there's no need to fear economic min if mass conversion occurs. When the workers and the capitalists have all been brought back into the fold there'll he no appreciable decrease in the social evils, because the evil is a moral sickness and it has bitten all the Western world—especially Catholics.
Please, let's get a clear idea of what Christianity is and let us live it regardless of the consequences. (" It doesn't pay, my dear.") So when the Y.C.W. and the Y.C.C. (how about your city editor starting it?) have converted everyone we'll have evolved a way of living that is Christian, and so avoid the baptised business impasse.
