On his way to Ireland, where he hopes to find some Religious with medical experience, is Mgr. John Hogan, Bishop of Bellary, India. "I need doctors,' says Mgr. Hogan, who is looking for Sisters who can work in his territory. First-class lay doctors would be an expense he cannot afford and so he hopes to staff his 40-bed hospital with Sisters.
The territory of the mission is about as large as Sicily or Belgium; among its population of 3,000,000 there are about 7,000 Catholics whose number grows annually by several hundreds.
