The Cardinal at Canon MacSweeney's jubilee.
CARDINAL Griffin—who cele
brates tomorrow the 13th anniversary of his consecration— continues to derive great benefit from his convalescence at Torquay, says a statement issued this week from Archbishop's House, Westminster.
His Eminence's doctors are very satisfied with the steady improvement in his health.
Last week the Cardinal attended the silver jubilee High Mass of Canon Myles MacSweeney, rector of St. Marychurch, in which parish he is at present staying.
His Eminence went to Torquay early in May to convalesce after the set back in his health at the end of January, when he was anointed. Reports of his progress have since been consistently good.
