WAS HIGHGATE COLLEGE SUPERIOR The many friends and Old Boys of St. Aloysius College, Highgate, N.6, will learn with regret of the death at Stainsby Hall, Smalley, Derbyshire, of Brother Eghert Davey, who for nearly 40 years had been Superior at Highgate, his Old School.

On leaving school, Brother Egbert joined the Community where he laboured for over 56 years. His kindness and extreme indulgence towards all with whom be came in contact were well known, while in striking contrast was the severity he exercised towards himself.

His remains were brought from Derby and taken to St. JoSeph's, Highgate, where a Requiem Mass was sung, representatives from the various houses of the Order being present as well as many past and present pupils.
