The recipient of the Laetare Medal in 1924, Mr. IVIagennis is a member of the Architectural School Committee of Harvard, a trustee of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and an honorary member of the R.I.B.A. He has been
an active member of the for 25 years.
The award was made at the annual dinner last week at the Hotel Baltimore in New York. Archbishop Spellman, of New York, and Senator Robert A. Taft, son of the late President William Howard Taft, a life member of the Society, were among the speakers.
