Beads at Mass

SIR, I have found it an excellent idea to pray the Rosary all through the Mass. With practice the mysteries can be fitted in like counterpoint.

The Crucifixion can be synchronized with the Consecration. The Lord's Prayer can be matched with the priest's.

Study the Mass at home and plan your Rosary: and then look on your own devotions as a kind of piano accompaniment to the priests's solo. It saves carting a missal around fa full one is the size of a telephone directory); it calls for concentration, hut allows for meditation.
