For Padley Pilgrims

The Bishop of Nottingham has received notification that the following indulgences have been granted by the Pope to pilgrims to Padley Chapel, in Derbyshire: A Plenary Indulgence to all who, after confession and Holy Communion, take part in a pilgrimage to the chapel and pray for the intentions of the Holy Father. An Indulgence of fifty days, to be gained on any day during the year. to all who visit the chapel in the spirit of penance and devotion.

These Indulgences are -granted for a period of seven years from June 12th last.

The next pilgrimage to Padley Chapel will be on the 15th inst.
