Applications are invited from men with appropriate qualifications and experience for this new post. in a co-educational Catholic school. The successful candidate will be expected to make considerable contributions in organisation, curricular development, pastoral work and discipline. An ability to give a lead in regard to (he use of educational technology will he a further qualification.

'Head of Business Studies and Economics (Scale 4). This is a new and attractive post for someone who is wilting to promote an already established broadly based course structure in this field. Options are offered in commerce, office skills, accounts and economics. A new suite of three rooms including one fully equipped for business activities is in course of completion. A teacher is sought who has imagination and a lively approach to the teaching of Modern Needlecratt. Qualifications may he either in Home Lconomies or Art and Design. The Needlecraft Department has two well-equipped rooms one for dress studies and the other for fabric craft. in September 1973 the Cardinal Griffin and St. Vietoirc's Schools will amalgamate as the St. Philip Howard School. The new school will be on the extended site of the Cardinal Griffin School to which three new buildings have

been added.
