Sailors' day

SAILORS' DAY is the only Flag Day in London and Greater London organised to aid sailors of the Royal and Merchant Navies, of all ages and all ranks serving at home and overseas.

The Apostleship Of the Sea, the Catholic mission to seamen, benefits appreciably from the proceeds of the total collection, and as we badly need more sellers everywhere, I wonder if you could spare a little space to mention our need and the Flag Day, which will be held on Tuesday, May 14.

If any of your readers would be willing to sell flags or send a donation, they should write to me stating where they can sell flags arid at what time.

We would be most grateful if you could help in this way. E. M. Bushman (Mrs.) 33, Bishop's Mansion, Bishop's Park Road, London, S.W.6.
