Diamond jubilees in Japan

Two alarianist Brothers who have served in Japan for 60 years have celebrated their diamond jubilees together in the Marianists' home for old laybrothers at Gora.

They are Brother Celeste Rambach — who at the age of 87 still gives lessons in English and French and spends his spare time chopping wood—and Brother Charles Coutrct, who is 82.

Another French missionary, Fr. Isidore Charron, of the Paris Foreign Missions, celebrated the diamond jubilee of his ordination in Osaka. He has been working in Japan for 59 years.
