FROM effective prayer to successful bookstalls there's a raft of new ideas to discover in the CRE talks programme PEOPLE TRAFFICKING buying and selling people is the world's fastest growing illegal trade. Speaking on the subject at CRE (1.30pm, Tue 15 May) will be Steve Chalke, chair of Stop the Traffik, a global coalition of organisations, communities and individuals raising awareness of people trafficking and promoting praCtical action through a global declaration, media, events, celebrities and projects around the world through 2006 & 2007.

Jane Williams, the Anglican Editor at Redemptorist Publications, will offer her insights on how to make the Gospels a living reality for us all (12.15pm, Wed 16 May). 'Then, like the disciples on the road to Emmaus our will hearts bum within when we hear afresh the stories that might have become overfamiliar,' says Jane who will speak under the title 'Many words One Word. Igniting passion for the Gospels.'

Tim Thomborough of The Good Book Company will give handy hints on helping your fellowship group focus on God (Tues 15 May)... Tony Anthony author of award-winning autobiography Taming the Tiger will speak and sign books...
