It's what he is

that matters

Teaching religion is not something the teacher does—although ability to teach is pre-supposedbut something he is.

In a talk on "The Art of Teaching Religion," Mr. Frank Sheed made this remark on Saturdas to members of Our Lady's Catechists meeting in London at the Sacred Heart Convent, Hammersmith.

Mr. Sheed said that the teacher's job is " to show that God is lovable." There is no difficulty in getting the mind to understand that there is a spiritual world, he said, hut the real difficulty is in realising that the world is there.
