PROTESTANT CHILDREN SANG CAROLS The crib at St. Barnabas Cathedral, Nottingham, has this year been restored by Messrs. John Hardman and Co. Ltd. ,Decorated covers which fit over the doors of the porch in which the Crib is built, explain its meaning. This has been done largely for the benefit of the hundreds of non-Catholics who annually make the Cathedral Crib a place of pilgrimage.
The Rev. Edward Ellis. D.D., Administrator of the Cathedral. states that a year ago an entire non-Catholic school visited the Crib in a body and sang a Christmas carol in front of it He is anxious to encourage this growth of understanding and worship.
