Don't Support Badly-produced Periodicals

—Just Because they are Catholic, says Vatican Radio

Catholics should avoid blind support for badly written and produced periodicals merely because they were presented to them as Catholic, said a speaker on the Vatican wireless during a recent broadcast on Catholic journalism. There was no reason, continued the speaker, why Catholic literature should not possess the same technical merit as nonCatholic literature, while offering to the public at the same time an infinitely superior 'content.

It was announced that the University of Fribourg. in Switzerland. is to have a school of Catholic journalism; the new Faculty will be conducted by the director of Kirnpa, the Catholic International Press Agency.
