to go to Rome A decision by the President of Brazil to grant 60 days' leave of absence, without 'counting Sundays, to all government employees and officials who desire to go to Rome to gain the Jubilee Year indulgence has been greeted with pleasure by the Central Committee for Holy Year. Brazil was also the first country to grant a general amnesty for the Holy Year-an example which has been followed by many other countries.
