THE BUDDHIST TOOK A CHANGE OF COURSE

Ket Pai-ehing a Buddhist monk from the Ching Wen monastery of Shansi province, has been baptised at St. Joseph's Church in occupied Shanghai.

He was following a two-year course of studies offered by a Protestant group in Hong Kong when he fell ill and was taken to St. Marie's Hospital in Shanghai.

The sister in charge of his ward answered his inquiries about the Church, promised to pray -for him. and urged him to make further in

quiries. For some time he went from his Buddhist temple to assist at Mass.
