PARACHUTE jumps remind me that Lisl Riggs-Davison, secretary of the Anglo-Polish Medical Foundation tells me that her "Support A Devil!" parachutists for Poland sponsorship has got underway.

Stephen McWilliam of Benfleet in Essex has raised £200 in personal sponsorship; Miss Delia O'Leary, 18 years, has £120 promised so far.

Macek Liro of their committee has £200, and the two volunteers from Aldershot have also f300 each promised. One is the daughter of Vernon Maure, who is organising this jump with the Red Devils.

Readers, she tells me, have always been generous in their financial support for the vital lorryloads of medical supplies which go to Poland.

If you would care to send a £1 write to Lisl Biggs-Davison, Secretary, Anglo-Polish Medical Foundation, 26 Campden House, Sheffield Terrace, London W8.
