IT WAS fascinating to read the front page of your

newspaper and discover that an elderly Cardinal has bumped his head, but are you sure that you have got your priorities right? (Catholic Herald. August 14.) I ask this because your one column inch report that thousands of unborn children are killed every week in England and Wales was buried at the bottom of page 3. This may not have been deliberate but it cannot fail to give the impression that it is not very important, which is very far from the truth.

In Christian charity I urge you to question whether you would have relegated the deliberate killing of thousands of any other minority group to such an insignificant position.
