They Were Pleased

When the Russian and English troops invaded and occupied Persia, Major Cazalet said that it was the Household Cavalry which met the Russians in the neighbourhood of Teheran. The Russians were much interested and amused and even pleased to find this regiment, a large percentage of whkh is composed of the English aristocracy. Apparently there was mutual satisfaction.

Both were very pleased with the encounter. and enjoyable meals were celebrated in the most friend!) atmosphere. Everyone gave testimony to the excellent equipment of the Russians.
