WHAT

WE THINK

THE CHANGELESS MESSAGE

WE think that the exchange of letters between the Holy Father and President Truman is one of the most important events that have taken place since the end of the war.

In the words quoted alongside, the world is given the truth. There can be no peace in any compromise with evil. There can be no peace save by man's first service to God and then to his fellow-men.

That, the Pope says, is the Church's " changeless mes sage." M. B.
