THE WIFE or SUICIDE prisopfer and alleged mass murderer Frederick West is being comforted by an elderly Catholic nun, it was revealed this week.
Sr Mary Paul, who spent many years as a missionary in Kenya, has made regular visits to Rosemary West at Pucklechurch Remand Centre for Women near Bristol.
She was one of the first to offer comfort to Mrs West when the Gloucester builder's suicide was announced on Sunday afternoon.
72-year-old Sister Paul, a Scot, is a member of the Catholic Order of the Mission, and is a parish sister at St Augustine's, Downend.
