IN ANSWER TO Catherine Nagaur who is committed to marriage (St Paul in I Cor, 7), St Paul does not teach the opposite to Jesus; he is speaking of what is called the Pauline annulment.
There he deals with the case of a married person who is converted to the Church, but not his or her partner. If the partner refuses to live with the believer, the believer can re-marry.
But if the unbeliever stays with the believer, then their marriage still stands. But what Jesus taught still stands.
