tion for wartime bombing.
For the past 20 years the Germans have concentrated their sympathy on the bombed city of Coventry, where they have built an international centre at the new cathedral. On Sunday. Remembrance Day. Provost H. Williams of ('oventry Cathedral will launch a national appeal for funds to send a group of volunteers to the -bombed city of Dresden, where they will help rebuild a hospital. A report of the 1945 Dresden bombing will be broadcast Sunday at 6.35 p.m. on The Sunday Break ,11/413C-Teleyision), The documentary will include eyewitness reports or the destruction that killed 135,000 people in a day and a film of the raid photographed from one of the Allied bombers. There will also be pictures of the city both before and after it was bombed and a recently-made film of the damaged hospital and the nurses who still work there. Special permission was granted by the East German government to make the film.
