CARDINAL ON TV

To kill or not . .

All networks of BBC television will carry a programme in which Cardinal Godfrey, now recovering from his recent operation, will be discussing the question of capital punishment. With the Cardinal will be the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Ramsey, and Mr. Albert Pierrepoint who retired as public hangman five years ago. The programme is scheduled for October 24.

ABULLETIN issued from Archbishop's House, Westminster, on Tuesday, stated that Cardinal Godfrey who underwent an operation two weeks ago, continues to make a satisfactory recovery.

A TALK on the Christian Family Movement will be given by ,Mr. John Farmer on Thursday, 7 p.m,, at the Centre of Our Lady of Fatima, 21 Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick (close to Hampton Wick station).
