One of the oldest and most prominent professors at the Sophie University, Tokyo, 60 year old Professor of English literature Tsutomu Chiha, has become a Catholic. He was baptised. taking the name Thomas, by his old friend and colleague, Fr. Nicolaus Roggen, S.J.
