Minister resigns

Lord Holden, one of the five Catholics who received posts in the Government after the General Election, has resigned as Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Commonwealth Relations, because of urgent personal business.

Catholics still in the Government are Lord Pakenham, Minister of Civil Aviation, Mr. R. R. Stokes, Minister of Works, Mr. John Wheatley, Lord Advocate for Scotland, and Mr. W. J. Edwards, Civil Lord of the Admiralty,
