Mgr. Godfrey's Thanks

Mgr. Godfrey. the Apostolic Delegate, writes to say how deeply he appreciates the kindness shown to him on the occasion of his silver jubilee. He regrets that his many occupations do not allow him to thank individually, without delay, all who have so kindly sent him their greetings and good wishes. He asks them to accept this expression of his great gratitude For the time being. He is particularly grateful for the innumerable assurances of prayers for the Holy Father and himself.

On Monday Mgr. Godfrey enterlaincd the Cardinal and the London bishops to luncheon.
