POPE PLEASED AT FRANCO'S PROMISE Spanish Nationalist Ambassador to Vatican

Sr. Yanguas Messia, Spanish Nationalist Ambassador to the Vatican, presented his credentials to the Pope on Thursday, June 30.

Sr. Messia in his speech stressed the fact that Spain has arisen in defence of the Catholic Faith as is proved by her countless martyrs among her priests and prelates, among whom there has not been a single case of apostasy."

The Pope in the course of his reply said

that he had a special love for, Spain, for her peace and prosperity, and for its leader (Capo), Generalissimo Franco.
