Three performances of Murder in the Cathedral were given in the Cathedral Hall last week by the Westminster Club Dramatic Society.
The acting was really good, the performance of Sidney Carr as Becket being noteworthy for dignity and restraint.
Miss Marty Camerer Cuss is also to be complimented on the work of the chorus of " Women of Canterbury," which she had rehearsed to such good effect.
The producer. Miss Simmons, had a very difficult task in producing such a play.
Cardiff C.Y.M.S. to Hold Rally
The quarterly meeting of the Cardiff Archdiocesan Council was held at St. 111tyd's, Swansea, on Saturday last. Eleven branches of the Council were represented.
Bro. J. Daley (Cwmbran) took the chair, supported by Fr. Dunne, O.S.B. (St. llltyd's) and Fr. Dillon (Barry), with Bros. R. O'Sullivan (vice-president), E. L. Brain, J.P. (treasurer), and A. W. Law (secretary). Canon Quigley (chaplain) was absent through ill-health.
Arrangements for the annual rally were discussed. This is to be held at Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday, September 18. The Archbishop of Cardiff will preside,
