THE day s on which Bishops of the Westminster Province will cerebrate Pontifical Benediction • during the Vocations Exhibition at Olympia were announced this week.
On the opening day. Sunday, July 5, the celebrant will be Cardinal Griffin. who will already, in the morning. have presided at a Pontifical High Mass. sung by Archbishop Myers.
On the succeeding days. the celebrants at the Pontifical Benediction will be these: Monday, July 6. the Bishop of Southwark: Tuesday, July 7. the Bishop of Northampton: Wednesday, July 8, the Bishop of Nottingham; Thursday, July 9, Bishop Craven; Fridays July 10. the Bishop of Brentwood; Saturday, July 11. the Bishop of Portsmouth.
On each of the class the ceremony will begin at 9.45 p.m., and will he at the great altar which is to be set up in the centre of the Grand Hall at Olympia.
Cardinal Griffin will again he the celebrant on the last day of the Exhibition. Sunday, July 12, when the Pontifical Benediction will be at 930 p.m. On that day, beginning at 9 a.m., he will have ordained 30 members of St. Joseph's Society for Foreign Missions, Mill Hill.
