6,000 GAME TO SUPPER

Six thousand French-Canadians sat down to supper with Cardinal Lcger. Archbishop of Montreal. at the largest family party ever held in the city. Five thousand others had sought to buy tickets hut could not be accommodated.

Each evening the Cardinal leads a public Tecitation of the Rosary which is broadcast over the radio. On this occasion his 6,000 supper companions joined him in the devti├┤n.

During the meal the Cardinal. who has a rich t2nor voice, took the lead in the singing tif French-Canadian rhansora a repondre, irs which he sang certaj lines and the audience joined in the responses and choruses.
