'Vocation Day' for teachers proposed

A call to Christian teachers to keep as their Vocation Day the Feast of John Baptist de La Salle. who was proclaimed Patron of Teachers by the Pope in 1950, has been sent out by the administrators of the Saint's shrine in Rome. The Feast is on May 15-today week.

The promoters suggest that special prayers on that day in all Catholic schools should ask especially that there should be more recruits to the field of Christian education; and that each school taking part should send its spiritual bouquet to be recorded in a register at the Shrine of St. John Baptist de La Salle. and placed on the altar containing his relics.

The address of the promoters is Via Aurelia 476, Rome.
