Support for Lebanon

From Major General Viscount Monckton of Brenchley, CB IN VIEW of the tragic situation in the Lebanon with the population of the country going through such a terrible ordeal the Order of Malta is issuing a pressing appeal to support its work. The Order is operating in Lebanon from four very overworked medical centres and has just set up a medical field unit at Tyre.

True to its traditions the Order of Malta repeats to those whom it assists the motto of Pasteur "I do not ask you what is your race and religion but what is the nature of your suffering".

I therefore address this appeal in the same spirit.

Please send donations to me at this address. Cheques should be made out te BA SMOM-Lebancrn-a/ c.
