The 'fine people' who have helped Poland

EVER SINCE I went to the village of Legowo in Poland just before Christmas 1981 with food, clothes and medicine, I have been flooded with letters from Catholic Herald readers and KSC members. Some letters I have answered but the rest are impossible to do because of prior commitments.

To date you fine people have donated £12,189.31, some 10 tons of food of all kinds and over 10 tons of washing products, medicine and children's clothing.

The Knights of St Columba have delivered and distributed over 30 tons of goods to two villages,
