And strangely enough most of it is set in the London of Daly's and the Alhambra. It has a clever theme of lovers of three generations-Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian; the first two thwarted by the lure of the stage and the third becoming " O.K." in an interesting break with tradition when Hollywood invades the stage by storm and gets away with it. Plenty of opportunities are taken for lavish dress. Evelyn 1.-aye excels as the dancer and singer in all three Periods, Esreol Knight is the gay impetuous lover, an Charles Goldner grows old remarkably well as " Uncle John," the theatrical
