Archbishop honours former leaders of girls' organisation

Archbishop Myers presided at the presentation to two former leaders of the Catholic Action Girls' Organisation, Miss Carmy Greville and Miss Agnes Carlton, on Saturday, at the Virgo Fidelis Convent, Old Brornoton Road, London.

Miss Greville and Miss Carlton, who were responsible for setting up the organisation in England 12 years ago, retired last November.

The present organising secretary is Miss K. MacDonnell.

Fr. John Toliden, M.A., former senior curate of St. Mary's, Coventry, received a cheque for £110 and an altar missal at a presentation last week attended by more than 500 of his former parishioners and friends. Fr. Toikien was teeently appointed to the English Martyrs', Sparkhill, The Dames of St. Joan organised a fair last week in aid of the St. Anne's Mothers and Babies Home in Leigham Court Road, South London.
