C.P.E.A. ,start house-to-house collection

The Winchester Catholic Parents and Electors' Association is organising a weekly house-to-house collection to raise the £10.000 needed to bring the Catholic school up to the standard required by the local education authority.

The School. the only one in Winchester. will have to have an assembly hall and two new classrooms added to it. Only a few years ago it was regarded as a model school."
