Denies 'prophecies'

Theresa Neumann, the stigmatic

peasant woman of Konnersreuth. last week told Max Jordan, N.C.W.C. correspondent in Germany. that alil reports about her having made prophecies about the political future of the world are utterly devoid of foundation.

predicting " the assurance of world peace in 1952 under circumstances nobody now expects" have been circulating for many months.

The original German text of this alleged ferecitst did not ring true, he says, for the very German in which it was written did not sound like heresa's at all.

"The alleged prophecy." says Thesese's statement, is an outright felsehood_ I never said anything of the sort. The report is tangibly untrue."
