GAELIC DEVOTIONS The annual congress of the Gaelic League is

asked to approach the Cardinal Primate with the request that one Gaelic-speaking priest be appointed to every church in the country. This proposal would not be quite practicable in every diocese .at present, but the rising generation in •the Twenty-Sim comities now numbers so many Irish-speaking young people that the hierarchy is likely to consider measures soon to increase the use of the national language in vernacular devotions.
